Valleyview Stage

I have this thing for homes with internal courtyards. So when I got the call to come and see this new build in the Laurier / Valleyview neighbourhood of Edmonton, I was super excited!

This is a truly special home. Not only is it an amazing location in the city but the energy of this space is beautiful. So much natural light, an overall zen feel and unique features!

Staging for this home was almost more important because it is a unique home. It becomes a bit more difficult for buyers to make sense of a home that isn’t a traditional layout if they can’t see it in action.

Telling the story of a home

I think of staging like telling a story. Here, sit down and let me show you how this house lives. And let me add in these little details here and there that will spark your imagination and have you envisioning yourself living in this home too. Yep, that’s what staging does.

I think the impact of that becomes apparent when you look at a few photos of the space before and after staging. The furniture and the decor add life to it. Totally cliche, but it does make the house feel like a home.

The Inspiration

Because the architecture of the home itself still needed to shine through, I chose a very neutral and clean look for the space that was still cozy and inviting. Sort of my take on Japandi style (Japanese x Scandinavian). I’m so pleased with how it all turned out and I know that this house is going to make the right buyer very happy.

Lifestyle Shoot

The home also hosted a lifestyle shoot by Christina Louise Branding, featuring Nicole Cowley of Next Step with Nicole Renee. I love these additional images that tell an even more in-depth story of how this home can function!

Here are just a few of the amazing photos that Christina captured:

At the time of posting, this home is available here and is listed with Nathan Mol of Liv Real Estate.
